The main asset of the Municipal Museum of Fine Arts consists of pictorial works of art. Some of the best paintings refer to several works of San Jose de Ribera, Joaquin Sorolla and works pertaining to the Flemish school of art. However, Gaspar de Quevedo, Juan de Miranda, Gonzalez Mendez and Cristobal Hernandez de Quintana must be mentioned as contributors from the local artistic scene. Furthermore, the pictorial asset is complemented by sculptural works.
